About this album I did not find any data (reviews or interviews), but anyway, enjoy in his uniqueness. Really remarkable LP, a rarity for collectors.

If you find it, buy this album!

  2. VITKO! What a stellar find, a TRUE rarity in every sense of the word - very difficult to find, and rare to find such an intense and uncompromising album that completely slipped through the attention of free improv lovers. A great service you do here...

Werner X. Uehlinger: it would be great if more nuggets like this would see the light of day again. What's the point in keeping culture in the vaults if no-one can appreciate it? :)

    Cheers,
    Lucky :)

  4. Thank you, Vitko.
Had this LP about 15 years ago. Borrowed it to an aquaintance but never got it back...glad to hear it again.
BTW - Country is Switzerland and not US (for release).
    Thanks again!!

    1. Yes, thank you, my omission, I conveyed the general data from Discogs, I did not notice that they made a mistake.

  6. I never saw this one. I agree it would be nice if some of the early Hat Hut stuff were re-issued. I get the feeling that outside of the recordings by Joe McPhee, Anthony Braxton and Steve Lacy, there is not a lot of interest in pursuing that.

I know the label has experienced some tuff times of late. I think they were even asking for donations at one point.

  7. Good to see it here. The musicians are not unknown, at least for those who follow the Swiss scene. Knud and Alex resurfaced later in noise-jazz combo 16-17 and Knud played for some time in Berlin (not least with the infamous Franz De Byl, as heard on LP "Echo").
